Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Futrilo ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit our store, buy from us or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Our store runs on Shopify.

The short version: we collect what we need to process your order, deliver it and support you. We don't sell your personal information for money. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing kontakt.futrilo@gmail.com.

1. Who we are

Futrilo is the controller of your personal information. Our contact details are: Futrilo, Porządzie 143, 07-205 Rząśnik, Poland, and kontakt.futrilo@gmail.com. Because we're based in the European Union, we handle all customers' data, including US customers' data, to the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in addition to the US state privacy laws that apply to you.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact and shipping details: your name, email address, shipping and billing address and phone number.
  • Order details: what you bought, order amounts, add-ons selected, returns and refunds.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (Shopify Payments and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Communications: the messages you send us and our replies.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you got to our store (for example, from a Facebook video), and how you interact with our pages. This is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

We don't collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, health data or precise geolocation.

3. How we collect it

  • Directly from you, when you place an order, contact us or sign up for emails.
  • Automatically, when you browse our store, through cookies, pixels and similar tools.
  • From service providers, such as our payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partner, for example delivery status updates.

4. How we use it

  • To fulfill your order: processing payment, packing and shipping your order, sending order and tracking emails, and handling returns, refunds, warranty and Shipping Protection claims.
  • To support you: answering your questions and solving problems.
  • To keep things secure: preventing fraud and protecting our store and customers.
  • To improve our store: understanding which pages work and which don't, using analytics.
  • For marketing: sending you emails about your abandoned checkout or our products (you can unsubscribe at any time), and measuring and improving our social media content and ads.
  • To meet legal obligations: for example, keeping records for tax and accounting purposes.

Under the GDPR, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (orders), our legitimate interests (security, analytics, improving the store, and marketing to existing customers), legal obligations (records), and your consent where it's required (for example, certain cookies).

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as much as they need:

  • Shopify hosts our store and checkout.
  • Payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal) process your payment.
  • Our fulfillment partner and shipping carriers receive your name, shipping address and phone number so they can pack and deliver your order.
  • Analytics tools (such as Microsoft Clarity and Cloudflare Web Analytics) show us how visitors use our pages.
  • Advertising and social media platforms (such as Meta), where their tools are enabled, help us measure our content and ads.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners for targeted advertising may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws. You can opt out at any time (see section 8).

6. Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the store to provide and improve its services. To learn how Shopify uses personal information and what rights you have, see Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also exercise certain rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the store work (for example, your cart), to remember your preferences, to understand how the store is used and, where enabled, to measure advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the store works.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, and in all cases under the GDPR standards we follow, you have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information, except where we must keep it, for example for tax records.
  • Get a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and "sale"/"sharing" of your personal information: opt out here. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. We'll still send you emails about your orders.

To make a request, email kontakt.futrilo@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it. You can also use an authorized agent, but we'll ask for proof that they're allowed to act for you. We respond within the time required by law (generally within 30 days, or 45 days under some US state laws). We'll never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws: the rights above apply to you as provided by your state's law. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email with the word "Appeal". If you're still not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General. You can also lodge a complaint with our lead EU supervisory authority, the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

9. Children

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. We don't sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security and data retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payments are encrypted and handled by certified payment providers. No system is 100% secure, though. We keep order information for as long as needed to fulfill and support your order and to meet tax and accounting requirements (usually up to 5 years). We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

11. International transfers

We're based in Poland, and our service providers operate in several countries, including the United States and the EU. Your information may be processed outside your home country. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, for these transfers.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we'll notify you as required by law.
